479 lots are on offer in the Autumn CGB Live Auction - September 27, ranging from Ancient coins and French royal and Modern coins to World coins.
The Live Auction which ends on 27 September 2016 brings a very nice ensemble of royal and feudal coins together. Among them, you’ll find more of the L.G. Collection with a selection of coins from the Renaissance and early 17th century. A Henri II Ecu known as “with croissants” with no Mint date [1552], from Paris (Lot 399791), and its twin coin, the very rare Testone known as “with croissants” (Lot 399808); several Double Henri, Henri and half-Henri gold coins; a Henry IV Ecu minted in 1594 in Paris (Lot 400153) and the half Ecu released by the same Mint (Lot 400157). King Louis XIII’s coinage will be represented by a very rare and very beautiful half Franc minted in 1623 in Rouen (Lot 400178).

The auction will end with a selection of World coins largely dedicated to Russia, including an 1894 Saint Petersburg 10 Ruble from Dr. Nordmann’s collection. An 1822 Alexander I 10 Zloty from Warsaw (PCGS XF45) will also be presented to you, as well as a rare 3-Pound Mary Stuart coin (1555) from Edinburgh. These are the only gold coins with the portrait of Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots.
