YOUR CGB WEBSITE CONTINUES TO HANDLE YOUR DELIVERIES!

For over 30 years now, CGB has been by your side to assist you with your passion. In the context of the ongoing health crisis, several measures have been taken to ensure safe shipment of orders placed through our website - cgb.fr -, which continues to operate as usual without interruption, offering 24/7 service.

Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions:

  • Can I continue to place orders through the www.cgb.fr website?
You can place orders as usual with our e-shops and make bids for our ongoing sales (weekly e-auctions, Internet Auctions and Live Auctions). Our logistics department will do its best to keep delivery times as short as possible.

  • I am based in Europe; when will my order be delivered to me?
We continue to ship your orders throughout the European Union via DHL Express. However, strict compliance with new safety rules may result in longer processing times. Even so, delivery times by DHL Express may also be 2 to 5 days longer on average. Nevertheless, due to current constraints, this service may not be available for shipments under €80.00, in which case your lot will be shipped to you by standard postal mail. We recommend that you group your purchases from our e-shops, weekly e-auctions, Internet and Live Auctions together in one single shipment in order to save time and expenses.
Books and large-size supplies are shipped by postal parcels regardless of the purchase amount.

  • I am based in America or in Asia; how will you ship my lots to me?

To ensure safe delivery of your lots, our first choice is currently Fedex. If your country is not eligible for Fedex delivery, your lots will be shipped to you by standard postal mail. Hence we recommend that you group your purchases from our e-shops, weekly e-auctions, Internet and Live Auctions together in one single shipment in order to save time and expenses. Just send us an email at contact@cgb.fr to let us know. You will receive a new order sheet and secure payment link.

  • How much are the delivery fees?
International delivery fees are still a €12.00 fixed amount. Additional shipment and insurance costs for shipments through Express parcel operators are fully assumed by CGB.

  • I would like to group my purchases together. How do I do it?

Grouping purchases together is strongly recommended to keep shipment fees as low as possible. You may use the “comment” box (before you validate your shopping cart) to let us know about your delivery/grouping preferences. Alternatively, you may send us an email at contact@cgb.fr.

  • I prefer to wait until lock-down in France is over before I have my purchases delivered or before I collect them from your shop in Paris. What will happen with my lots until then?

You may choose to have them kept in our safes. No storage costs will be charged.

  • Will e-auctions and Live Auctions take place as usual? Will my bids be taken into account?

Weekly e-Auctions (€1 starting price), Internet Auctions and Live Auctions will still take place without disruption.

  • I was supposed to collect an order from your shop in Paris at 36, rue Vivienne and pay it at the same time. How should I proceed? Will my order be cancelled?
Orders that have been paid in advance and were to be collected from our shop in Paris at 36, rue Vivienne will be kept in our safes until the temporary lock-down in France is lifted.
You may receive automatic reminders. If so, feel free to let us know by email at contact@cgb.fr so that we can update your order.

  • I have a problem with my order and/or a delivery problem. Who should I contact?
Our customer service is more than ever available to answer all your queries at contact@cgb.fr. Processing times may be a bit longer than usual, but we’ll make sure to answer any questions. Together we’ll find solutions to your needs. You are also welcome to contact our switchboard (+ 33 1 40 26 42 97).

Let’s keep in touch on line! We’ll carry on updating our social networks to keep you informed and share our passion for numismatics with you.
