New Arrivals in Medals

We are pleased to announce the release of 221 new medals.

This new selection spans the period from 1820 to 2006 and features medals from a wide range of countries, including Germany, Austria, Belgium, Cameroon, and Switzerland, as well as numerous French medals from the Fourth and Fifth Republics.

Among the highlights of this selection is a superb bronze medal from the Vatican and the Papal States, while a silver version of the same medal is already available on our website. Continuing with a religious theme, we are also offering a French commemorative medal marking the centenary of Saint Stephen's Cathedral, issued in 1995 in tribute to Bartholomew I of Constantinople.

You will also find several classic issues from the Monnaie de Paris, including a restrike of the medal Delivery for the Opening of Railway Operations, as well as the Jean-François Bartholony medal, edge-marked "No. 2", illustrating the quality and craftsmanship for which the Monnaie de Paris is renowned.
