New Arrivals in Medals and Tokens

We are pleased to present to you a new selection of medals, including several pieces from the Monnaie de Paris. Among them, you will find the medal featuring Ramses II the Builder, with the façade of the Great Temple of Abu Simbel on the reverse, engraved by sculptor Victor Douek, born in 1915 in Cairo. You will also discover a rare bronze medal by Thérèse Dufresne, depicting an upward view of the Potala Palace.

Our November Internet Auction is now online, featuring nearly 300 porte-louis! This auction is a wonderful opportunity for collectors to start a new collection or enhance their existing one. Among the highlights, you will find a magnificent gold porte-louis stamped with the “tête de vieillard” (old man’s head) hallmark, visible on the edges of the coin slots. You will also discover a beautiful silver-plated porte-louis with three compartments, depicting the departure and arrival of the mail after Boucher, by Pierre Frainier.
