New Book Release: Le Franc Les Essais, Les Archives - IIe République (1848-1852)

Dear collectors:

We are delighted to announce the publication of the latest volume in the Le Franc Les Essais, Les Archives series: Le Franc Les Essais, Les Archives – IIe République (1848–1852).

This volume, devoted to the Second Republic (1848–1852) essais, is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished in the series. It must be said that, however brief the period may have been, it was a rich one in terms of coinage, with a multitude of trial strikes and proofs bearing the image of this new republic, eager to turn the page on the monarchy once and for all.

This volume embodies all the qualities that have made the four previous volumes exceptional and unique works, offering an almost encyclopaedic insight into the subject.

You can also find the five volumes of the ‘Le Franc, Les Essais and Les Archives’ series, as well as over 700 titles, in our online bookshop.
